展讯 | Design Miami/Podium x Shanghai展会最新亮点揭秘

网易设计报道DesignMiami/PodiumxShanghai展会是DesignMiami/在中国的首次亮相，这场聚焦收藏级设计的博览会由DesignMiami/携手主办方“垠舍制造MadeinHouse”以及联合主办方“汉唐文化”共同举办，展会将于11月4-14日，上海艺术周期间举行。此次展会邀请了全球超过20家参展机构，以“物感——设计的艺术”为主题呈现从20世纪到当代顶尖艺术家们的收藏级设计珍品。

DesignMiami’sfirsteventinChina,DesignMiami/PodiumxShanghai(4-14November)willwelcomeover20internationalexhibitorsshowcasingaselectionofhistorical20th-centurydesignsalongsidecontemporaryworksfromcelebrateddesigners.PresentedincollaborationwithMadeInHouseandhantangCulturewhichwillbeheldduringShanghaiArtWeek,DesignMiami/PodiumxShanghaiwillexplorethecuratorialthemeof“WuGan:TheArtofDesign”.

此次展会策展由DesignMiami/策展总监AricChen陈伯康与联合策展人（上海）汪汝徽共同完成。这个全新的策展形式将通过展示20世纪及当代的设计藏品，探索“设计”作为一种“艺术”形态的存在，同时将回溯中国历史文化中精致装饰主义的传统，以在中国当代的语境中唤起对“设计/艺术”的新理解。DesignMiami/PodiumxShanghai融合了顶级的博览会体验及博物馆级的展览内容。届时，所有展出作品均可在限定时间内于博览会现场或www.designmiami.com官网在线藏购。此次上海首展同步开辟线上观展，藏家可尽享“在线藏购-选品到家”的贵宾服务；此外，交互式3D在线观展、虚拟观展项目、品牌跨界合作、设计师亮点解析等诸多在线互动环节等你一一解锁。

DesignMiami/Podium以及参展艺廊将展出一系列具有历史意义的20世纪典藏级的设计珍品，包括欧洲设计史上重要的作品如（巴黎）艺廊呈现的JeanProuvé与来自艺廊的FinnJuhl的代表作酋长椅（ChieftainChair）原版，到一系列世界其他国家与地区的现代主义作品：如艺廊（上海）将呈现艺术家丁乙多年来所收藏的上海装饰艺术家具珍品；以及（米兰）艺廊展示的来自巴西Studiod'ArtePalma工作室LinaBoBardi与GiancarloPalanti在1950年代创作的“ZigZagchair”。这些设计作品都简明地展示了现代主义的多样性，同时又定义了20世纪设计的特点。

博览会还将呈现中国设计师在跨学科创作上的探索，唤起着中国美术史上对“物的艺术”的实践。如专注于佛造像艺术的蒋晟，此次将基于展览场域呈现一尊超过2米高的铝制立像新作，这是他迄今为止创作的最大型的作品之一。徐震和周亦伦等艺术家的作品也会在博览会中出现，他们展现了中国的当代创作者在艺术和设计领域的流畅穿梭。同时，DanielArsham、VirgilAbloh、RickOwens和MishaKahn这些当代不断打破边界陈规的设计师的作品，也在此次展出之列。

TheexhibitionwillalsoillustratehowmanyChinesedesignersareoperatingacrossandbetweendisciplinaryboundaries,evokingthehistoricallackofdistinctionbetweenartformsinChina.JiangSheng,celebratedforhisexquisitelycontemporaryBuddhistsculptures,willpresentamorethan2-meter-highstandingBodhisattvainaluminum,oneofhislargestpiecestodate.AlsoincludedwillbethelikesofXuZhenandZhouYilun,practitionerswhoworkfluidlyacrosscontemporaryartanddesign.Theywillbejoinedbysimilarlyboundary-breakingdesignersfromabroadsuchasDanielArsham,VirgilAbloh,RickOwensandMishaKahn.

展会的其他亮点还包括ThomasHeatherwick具有变革性的设计“FrictionTable”。这件作品将与设计师标志性的钢制“Spunchair”及“Extrusionbench”同时在DesignMiami/PodiumxShanghai展会上亮相；香港著名设计师AndréFu也将首次展出他的同名收藏级设计系列；林芳璐作为今年国际Loewe工艺奖得主也将展出她与云南少数民族工匠合作的纤维作品新作。设计师GeorgeNakashima与WendellCastle在美国工艺运动时期的重要作品也是此次历史性收藏级作品的亮点，同时DesignMiami/PodiumxShanghai展会还将呈现中国本土艺廊如PearlLamGallery艺廊、GalleryAll艺廊、GallerySohe艺廊、ObjectiveGallery艺廊以及Art&DecoGallery艺廊的收藏级设计作品。
